Description
Volume Indices are the same conceptually as constant price figures (i.e. they express the evolution of GDP with inflation removed) but they are quoted as an index number which takes the value of 100 in the reference year, rather than in billions of Lebanese pounds. They can be used to assess the change between any two years by dividing the second year figure by the first, subtracting one and multiplying by 100. |
